Starbucks making inroads into Russia

SEATTLEPOST-INTELLIGENCER: Kuwait-based retailer M.H. Alshaya Co. plans to open 10 Starbucks Corp. stores in Russia this year, CEO Mohammed Alshaya announced this week at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Outlets of the Seattle-based coffee chain will open in Moscow and St. Petersburg in August, Alshaya said.
