Starbucks in China welcomes mobile pay

Alipay users in China can now use the mobile wallet to pay for coffee and food at all Starbucks locations in China.

The move comes 10 months after WeChat became a payment option inside Chinese Starbucks, according to MobilePaymentsToday.com.

To celebrate the new partnership, Alipay is giving users a 5-yuan voucher (75 cents) for any order over 50 yuan.
