Starbucks evicted from Beijing's Forbidden City

China Daily: Starbucks Corp. has closed its outlet in Beijing's Forbidden City following months of public outcry and charges that the store's presence was an insult to Chinese culture. The management of the Forbidden City offered the coffee giant the option to operate under the Palace Museum brand name like other outlets in the complex, but the company declined.
