Stacked celebrates first anniversary with iPad giveaway

Southern California-based Stacked:Food Well Built is marking its one-year anniversary with a celebration called "Random STACKS of Kindness."

The celebration will include an iPad giveaway, free food and free merchandise at the company's locations in Torrance, Cerritos and San Diego, Calif.

A total of nine iPads will be given away during the celebration that will continue through June.

Guests can enter the contest by becoming a Stacked member via a restaurant's tabletop iPad, and then logging on to their account when ordering. Winners will be selected randomly and will be notified via email.

Stacked, created by industry veterans Paul Motenko and Jerry Hennessy, was built around proprietary tableside technology that lets diners custom design their meals while receiving full-service attention. Guests can design their orders in a create-your-own menu format, choosing among dozens of ingredients, or choose from signature items built around a variety of global flavors. Also on the menu are appetizers, shakes, desserts, wine and a wide selection of craft beers.
