Smashburger is taking a more focused approach to limited-time offerings this summer, introducing two burgers and two shakes as part of a broader strategy to simplify restaurant operations.
The fast-casual chain's summer menu features the Pickle Stack Smash, made with Angus beef, American cheese, fresh dill pickles, mustard and mayo on a butter-toasted bun, and the Smoked Brisket Bacon Smash, topped with Angus beef, aged cheddar, smoked brisket, applewood-smoked bacon, dill pickles and barbecue sauce on a butter-toasted Parker House roll.
The seasonal shake lineup includes the Chocolate Banana Chip Shake and Dark Cherry Chip Shake, both made with Häagen-Dazs ice cream.
"We've made a deliberate decision to do fewer things, executed at the highest level," CEO Jim Sullivan said in a press release. "Simplifying our seasonal menu is a critical lever for operational excellence, which means faster, more consistent execution in our restaurants and a better guest experience in every visit."
The summer offerings follow the chain's recent seasonal promotions, including its Spring Fresh & Full Color menu, Big Shrimp Roll and Crispy Shrimp Basket and Scorchin' menu.
Based in Denver, Smashburger operates 178 restaurants, including 112 company-owned locations and 66 franchised units. The company plans to open up to 12 restaurants in 2026.
