Smashburger serves up triple-double burger

Smashburger will debut The Triple Double Burger on July 11 in all U.S. locations. The burger includes two beef patties, two pieces of American cheese, one piece of cheddar cheese and assorted toppings, according to a press release.

"We're giving people more of what they love. Double the juicy, caramelized beef, made-to-order and seared to perfection. And triple the cheesy goodness," Smashburger Co-Founder and CEO Tom Ryan said in the release. "This will be Smashburger's new iconic menu item, providing three times the cheese and double the beef in every bite."
