Share Our Strength to offer Great American Dine Out training webinars

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Share Our Strength's Great American Dine Out, a week-long, nationwide charitable event in which thousands of participating restaurants donate a portion of their proceeds to help end childhood hunger, is offering a series of summer webinars. The first webinar is scheduled for July 1, from 11:30 a.m. to noon Eastern time.
 
The Great American Dine Out is a flexible program that lets operators decide how they want to implement and promote the Sept. 20-26 event.
 
The webinar will provide strategies and ideas from industry experts that registered operators can for their even, adapt or create their own. Operators still considering joining the cause also will learn more about the event. Operators can click here to register for the webinar.
 
The 2009 Great American Dine Out is sponsored by Sysco, S.Pellegrino Sparkling Natural Mineral Water, Ecolab, Food Network, USA Today and the National Restaurant Association. Nearly 3,000 restaurants are registered to participate in this year's event including Bruegger's and Corner Bakery Cafe, but more than 5,000 are needed.
