Shake Shack's Meyer joins Olo board

Online and mobile ordering provider Olo has announced the appointment of Danny Meyer to its board.

Meyer is the founder and CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group, which includes Shake Shack. He is also a prior director and board member of OpenTable.

"Olo is enabling fine quality and hospitality at fast food speed and scale, and ultimately providing a better guest experience, which should be a priority for all restaurant operators," said Meyer in a company press release.  "I look forward to working closely with the Olo Board and team to contribute to the strategic direction of the company, particularly as consumer-facing technology plays an increasingly important role for guest experience management."
