"The response from our guests was humbling and told us everything we needed to know," Shake Shack Executive Chef and Vice President of Culinary Innovation John Karangis said in a statement. "This summer, we're bringing it back with the same premium ingredients and the same attention to detail that made it our most successful shake to date."

The shake's crackable chocolate shell has also appeared in other limited-time offerings, including the Love Shake, released for Valentine's Day, and the Peppermint Bark Chocolate Shake, introduced during the holiday season.
