Seattle's Best Coffee, a subsidiary of Starbucks, is now offered in 10 Wal-Mart Supercenters throughout Canada.
According to Yahoo! Canada News, the company began testing the idea in the fall in Calgary, Alberta and Keswick, Ontario.
The move is a direct invasion into Oakville, Ontario-based Tim Hortons territory.
Seattle's Best will market its five flavor levels as it enters Canada, and aims to attract casual coffee drinkers.
The company has a goal of bringing in $1 billion in annual revenue from the offshoot brand, and the Wal-Mart strategy will likely boost foot traffic and new consumers.
