Saladworks launches Signature Series Salads

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — Saladworks is introducing its Signature Series, a spin-off of the award-winning 2007 Celebrity Chef Competition.
This year, Saladworks invited A-list chefs to create a line of seasonal salads — four different chefs, four different salads, each featured as a Signature Series Salad. Saladworks will give $5,000 to the chefs to donate to the charity of their choice.
The first Signature Series offering, the Wild Alaskan Grilled Salmon salad, is available through the end of March, with another salad hitting locations April 15, 2008.
The Wild Alaskan Grilled Salmon Salad was created by chef Jim Coleman and features chilled salmon on a bed of mixed greens, grape tomatoes, craisins and walnuts, garnished with a spicy pepper/cucumber slaw and served with a raspberry-maple vinaigrette dressing.
