Revolution Technologies, a multi-patented technology owner and off-premise partner for restaurants that provides an order management software platform that integrates into a restaurant's POS systems, is expanding its online ordering capabilities with Google, according to a press release.

Through Revolution's digital ordering platform, Order One, Revolution integrates the digital-ordering platform into a restaurant's POS system to permit that restaurant to receive online orders. Once signed up for the service, the restaurant will see an "Order Online" button appear on their business profile on Google, signifying that they are ready to receive online orders.

Jason's Deli is the first Revolution partner to provide customers the ability to order directly from Google Search and Google Maps.

Orders received from Google leverage Revolution's Order One's POS integration, and then flow directly into the restaurants' POS. Additionally, delivery orders on Google will enable Order One's ground control delivery feature, allowing restaurants to fulfill orders with their own fleet or through one of Revolution's delivery partners.

"Digital food ordering is virtually all about convenience. With Google, the ordering process is simplified, and together we provide a greater level of convenience for customers and additional ordering opportunities for our restaurant partners," Robert Taylor, chief revenue officer, Revolution Technologies said in the release. "With restaurant partners being able to accept orders easily on Google, restaurants can extend their reach with customers and give users alternatives to engage directly with the restaurants."
