Raising Cane's conducts operations, menu assessment
July 19, 2009
DALLAS — Raising Cane's has announced it retained Synergy Restaurant Consultants for a restaurant operations assessment and menu development initiative, in order to improve corporate and unit operations consistencies, product quality and product offerings.
The assessment was performed by touring and working in numerous restaurant locations in the Baton Rouge, La., area, where the concept was founded. The company's Corporate Support Center was relocated to Dallas earlier this year.
"We've experienced pretty fast growth over the last several years, and with that came a desire to review all of our operations systems and processes, and gain an outside perspective on ways we can improve. That's what triggered our hiring Synergy," said Clay Dover, Raising Cane's president.
Additionally,Raising Cane's Ohio Limited has created Lemondae Rocks to benefit the CD101's "For the Kids" program.
Now through July 31, anyone can stop by any Columbus, Ohio-area Raising Cane's location and register to win two tickets to Lollapalloza and an autographed surfboard by singer Jack Johnson. Lollapalloza is a three-day, eight-stage music festival to be held in Chicago Aug. 7-9, 2009.
The winner will be selected via a random drawing Aug. 3, and will be announced on-air at CD101.
With each registration, Raising Cane's will donate $1 to CD101's "For the Kids" program to benefit needy children and families throughout Central Ohio.
Raising Cane's Ohio Limited, the Columbus franchisee, operates five Columbus locations.
