Quiznos' new ads question Subway quality

DENVER — Quiznos, the No. 2 sub chain, is chasing top-ranked Subway, and it's not hiding its intentions.
In what the company calls the "most aggressive and competitive advertising campaign in the history of the company," Quiznos is taking on competitor Subway with the launch of Quiznos' new Prime Rib Cheesesteak.
According to a news release, the ad campaign depicts real people on the street being asked to look at the Quiznos Prime Rib Cheesesteak vs. the Subway Cheesesteak. In the ad, the people are asked to choose.
Quiznos said the comparison test was conducted and overseen by independent auditors who purchased both Subway and Quiznos sandwiches at the same time. The sandwiches that were purchased were presented on a tray unwrapped and untouched from the way they came out of the sandwich wrapper.
