Qdoba online contest pays off

DENVER —Qdoba Mexican Grill said it received 1,000 nominations for its online "Who Do You Love?" promotion.

The promotion ran from March 7 to April 14 in search of the ultimate everyday hero. Qdoba, in conjunction with Dr. Pepper, gave individuals a chance to honor people in their lives who made a difference and share their sentiments with others by rallying online support for their everyday hero on qdoba.com/whodoyoulove.com. The promotion supported the national launch of Qdoba's E-Club, which allows guests to stay connected to all the exciting things happening at Qdoba by providing their e-mail addresses.

Wisconsin-based police officer Dave Letteer won the contest. He was nominated by his wife. School teacher Kris Hinz from Idaho came in second; and U.S. Airman Jon Creer from South Dakota received the final honor.
