Panera Bread drops additives, artificials, preservatives in At Home products

Panera Bread has declared no more artificial sweeteners, preservatives, additives, or colors will be allowed in their Panera At Home product line.

The company has committed to removing all artificial ingredients from the 50 food products by the end of 2016.

The product line features meals designed to offer nutrition while saving time.

"Panera at Home products bring the flavors you love and quality you expect from Panera to your kitchen, for meals in minutes. We want to give our customers new ways to prepare food that is both good and good for them," stated Stephanie Crimmins, senior vice president of Panera At Home, in a release.

The refrigerated soup line currently makes up 35 percent of the market share in the division.
