Panda Express commits $1 million to disaster relief efforts

ROSEMEAD, Calif. — Panda Restaurant Group Inc. will donate $1 from the sale of every 3-entrée plate at all Panda Express locations from May 19 to June 1 to help victims of the China earthquake and Myanmar cyclone. Money raised from this campaign will be donated to the American Red Cross China Relief Fund and the Tzu Chi Foundation, a relief organization dedicated to helping all people.
PRG is committed to raising up to $800,000 through the in-store fundraiser. An additional $100,000 will be raised by PRG's 18,000 associates nationwide, along with a $100,000 match from the company.
