Olympic gold medalist Summer Sanders named as Jamba Juice spokesperson

Jamba Juice Co. announced today that TV sports commentator and former Olympic champion swimmer Summer Sanders will serve as a company spokesperson and member of the Jamba Healthy Living Council.

The Healthy Living Council is comprised of nutrition and fitness experts who work with Jamba to develop education materials, online content and school nutrition outreach initiatives to support healthier lifestyles. The council also advises on nutrition and fitness trends, and provides input on new menu concepts and healthier options as Jamba evolves its product line.

Jamba created the council in 2011 in partnership with three nutritionists to provide helpful health and wellness information to consumers through panel discussions, TV appearances, webinars and social media. Sanders will join Venus Williams, Vernon Davis, and Jake "Body by Jake" Steinfeld in similar activities with a focus on fitness.
