New report analyzes fast casual customers

Technomic has published a new report called "Understanding Fast-Casual Restaurants and Their Customers," that examines the demographic composition, behavior and attitudes of fast casual restaurant consumers. The report, according to a company press release, includes the following:
- An inside look at Technomic's Consumer Restaurant Brand Metrics program, which tracks brand performance and consumer behavior to identify opportunities within the marketplace.
- Analyzation of more than 38,000 fast casual users through a demographic breakdown by gender, age, household income and ethnicity.
- How quick-service consumers use FCRs to better meet their needs and desires.
- Methods that best entice customers to purchase certain items once they are in the store.
- And the attributes that consumers feel are most important when choosing a fast casual restaurant.
