New fast casual concept to open at Forth Worth Stock Show

October 25, 2009

Reata, a Fort Worth, Texas, based Mexican restaurant, has announced its intentions to open a fast casual concept at next year's Stock Show, according to the Fort Worth Star Telegram.

From the Star Telegram:
Called La Espuela, which is Spanish for ‘the spur,' it will be a fast casual Mexican concept featuring tortilla soup, beef and chicken enchiladas, and Reata's legendary tenderloin tamales, among other dishes.

Patrons will walk up and order, with dining tables for 80 to 100 people available on a first-come, first-served basis. To-go orders will have their own window. Meals will cost about $10.
‘We are confident their new Mexican concept will add tremendous value as a fast casual dining alternative,' said Brad Barnes, the Stock Show's executive vice president and general manager.
The Stock Show endeavor will be the restaurant's third location, but its first fast casual concept.
