NCR launches subscription version of Aloha POS for restaurants

NCR Corp. announced the launch of NCR Aloha Essentials, a subscription version of its core NCR Aloha point-of-sale technology for restaurants.

The Aloha Essentials service includes everything that a restaurant needs, including POS, payments, mobile alerts, advanced reporting, takeout functionality, hardware and service, for one monthly price.

Restaurants can also get add-on services to boost loyalty, customer engagement and off-premise digital.

"Restaurants are an extremely competitive business and that's only accelerating in the digital-first era," Brian Dugan, senior vice president and general manager of NCR Hospitality, said in a press release. "With Aloha Essentials, NCR gives restaurants robust yet easy-to-use tools in a single, simplified package to run your operations, so you can focus on great food and customer experiences."
