Plano, Texas-based MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes signed a master franchise agreement with Great Foods USA LLC to expand the brand in the United Arab Emirates.

Great Foods, led by partners Nizar Shalwani and Roma Subazali, will open locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with additional expansion planned in the coming years.

The UAE agreement marks MOOYAH's latest international expansion outside North America. The company said the country's local customer base, high tourist density and consumer spending trends made it an attractive market for Great Foods.

"We are thrilled to partner with the Great Foods USA team to expand our presence to the UAE," MOOYAH President Michael Meche said in a press release. "They have an impressive proven track record of growing brands, notably in Texas for the past 20 years. Their business acumen and dedication to expand internationally will help drive our success in this emerging market."

MOOYAH operates 80 units across the U.S. and Middle East.
