As part of its Luna Gives Back program, Luna Grill is giving 20 percent of its proceeds on Valentine's Day to Rady Children's Hospital.
"Valentine's Day is not only a day for couples to celebrate their relationships, but it's a day for people to show their hearts for each other and those less fortunate. That's what our Luna Gives program is all about," said Maria Pourteymour, chief cuisine officer of Luna Grill.
On Valentine's Day, 20 percent of the proceeds from all six Luna Grill locations will be tallied and later donated to Rady Children's Hospital.
"Our staff is very enthusiastic about this and will be outfitted with t-shirts that say 'Help Fight Pediatric Illness,'" Pourteymour said. "We're also giving kids heart-shaped and decorated cookies that day."
Luna Grill is owned by Premier Food Concepts LLC., which has headquarters in San Diego, Calif.
