LevelUp signs on with fast casual Larkburger

July 16, 2012

Mobile payment provider LevelUp has announced that it has expanded to the state of Colorado with its launch at Larkburger, a fast casual gourmet burger chain founded by chef Thomas Salamunovich. Now all seven locations of the restaurant from Vail Valley to Colorado Springs will accept mobile payments with LevelUp.

LevelUp, created by mobile gaming company SCVNGR in 2011, is a free app that lets customers pay for products via mobile phone at more than 3,000 restaurants and shops across the U.S. Available for iPhone or Droid, users link up their debit or credit card to the app, which then generates a unique code they can scan to pay at local businesses.

Larkburger also is employing LevelUp's customer engagement tools. Customers who pay with LevelUp will be rewarded with a $10 credit for every $100 they spend using the app.

“We’re always searching for ways to make our customer experience seamless, and partnering with LevelUp made perfect sense,” said Larkburger president Adam Baker. "Streamlining the transaction process while also rewarding our customers is a win-win for all of us."
