Jason's Deli franchisees celebrate 10 years in Southwest Florida

May 20, 2012

Jason’s Deli is celebrating 10 years in Southwest Florida by donating a percentage of sales to 10 local charities.

The Power of Ten promotion will focus community attention on area charities through a donation of 10 percent of sales from the Fort Myers restaurant location to a specific charity on Monday’s between June 4 and Aug. 20. Customers are invited to get involved in the giving by making a $1 donation to the charity of the week. When they do so, they are entered in a drawing to win a catered event for 10 people.

The charities that will benefit from the Power of Ten include: ICAN (Island Coast AIDS Network), Heights Foundation, Hope Clubhouse, Quality Life Center, 21st Century C.A.R.E, Community Cooperative Ministries, Pace Center for Girls (Lee County), Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Eden Autism and Women In Business Educational Scholarship.

"For 10 years the Southwest Florida community has supported Jason’s Deli, and we felt it was time to really give something back," said Scott and Diana Willis, owners/operators of the five Jason’s Deli restaurants in Southwest Florida. "We’ve chosen local charities that have a direct impact on the quality of life in Southwest Florida as recipients for the store donations."

The donations will be based on the restaurant’s sales between 4 and 9 p.m. (dine-in, carry-out and delivery).

The Power of Ten promotion will conclude Sept. 12, with an appreciation breakfast at the deli for all of the charities, where their checks will be presented.
