GoTo Foods has added two executives to its team, naming Biplav Misra as chief digital officer and Tatiana Lambert as chief development officer.
The hires follow closely on the heels of the recent additions of CFO Brett Ubl and chief growth officer Francisco Bram.
As the company's first chief digital officer, Misra will lead the buildout of GoTo Foods' digital infrastructure, team and operating models across its seven brands. His focus includes expanding owned and third-party off-premise, catering and digital channels to drive guest frequency, increase check averages and improve unit-level economics.
Misra previously led digital commerce and channel growth at Albertsons Companies, overseeing catering, B2B delivery and marketplace platforms. He also held leadership roles at Amazon, where he launched marketplace businesses and served as B2C operations lead during COVID-19 supply chain disruptions.
Lambert, as chief development officer, will focus on disciplined expansion to strengthen franchisee returns and overall unit economics. She joins GoTo from Wendy's, where she served as vice president and U.S. chief development officer, overseeing real estate, franchise development, design and construction, recruiting and portfolio optimization. Lambert also had senior development roles with Yum Brands across its KFC and Pizza Hut brands.
"Biplav and Tatiana bring the leadership to sharpen our digital execution and development strategy, fundamentally strengthening how we grow and creating durable value for our guests, franchisees and brands," CEO Omer Gajial said in a press release.
Based in Boston, GoTo Foods franchises and operates more than 7,400 restaurants across all 50 states and 71 countries. Its portfolio includes Auntie Anne's, Carvel, Cinnabon, Jamba, Moe's Southwest Grill, McAlister's Deli, Schlotzsky's and Seattle's Best Coffee.
