Scarpetta, a new Italian fast casual concept featuring fresh-made pasta, announced plans to open in London on July 7.
"Though we are introducing a new type of healthy fresh pasta we are really trying to emulate the reality of Italy’s local food communities whereby growers and artisans tirelessly work together to perfect the product overtime. My farm, the local flour mill and the family of our artisan pasta maker have one mind when it comes to pasta. We are excited to bring to London the product of so much hard work," said co-founder Uberto Jasson D'Oria in a company press release.
Scarpetta’s will feature pasta maker Michele Fiore, who will prepare pasta from a specially designed workbench in view of customers. The menu will feature Mediterranian diet options, focusing on fruits, vegetables, grains and olive oil, all sourced from Italy.
