Freebirds World Burrito launches TV ad campaign

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Freebirds World Burrito, a fast casual restaurant known for its Monster burritos, announced the launch of their newest advertising campaign.

The campaign began Jan. 15 in the Texas towns of Austin, Bryan/College Station and Lubbock, with three different ads each highlighting different Freebirds Fanatics.

The 30-second spots illustrate Freebirds Fanatics' stories reenacted by foil characters. The stories include three people who camped out in front of a store under construction in Lubbock and a Marine Corp. pilot who smuggled a burrito to Okinawa, Japan.

The Freebirds Fanatics ad campaign was created by Austin, Texas-based Lyon Advertising.
