FREEBIRDS to open first Northern Calif. location

FREEBIRDS World Burrito has announced that it will open its first Northern California location in Roseville on Dec. 12. The Roseville FREEBIRDS is the seventh location to open in California in 2011, and to celebrate, FREEBIRDS will give the first 25 guests in line free burritos for a year.

In the days leading up to the opening, FREEBIRDS and its charitable arm, World Works, will conduct the following pre-opening events that are open to the public:

Dec. 10: FREEBIRDS Roseville will partner with Roseville Home Start from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and again from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. The first 250 guests during each time slot will enjoy complimentary food and drinks in exchange for a minimum $5 donation to Roseville Home Start.
Dec. 11: FREEBIRDS Roseville will partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Sacramento from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and again from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. The first 250 guests at each time slot will enjoy complimentary food and drinks in exchange for a minimum $5 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Sacramento.

The new FREEBIRDS will employ approximately 60 team members from the local community and will offer online ordering and full service catering.
