Wichita-based Chick N Max, a fast casual chain specializing in chef-crafted sandwiches and almond-wood smoked wings and tenders, has hired former Subway executive Jeff Frahm as VP of Franchise Sales & Development.

He will oversee all aspects of franchise development, including seeking candidates and setting up processes and programs to generate leads.

"Chick N Max's vision is to become one of the most widely known and admired franchises in the restaurant industry, and I believe they're well on their way to meeting that target," Frahm said in a company press release. "I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited about the part I'll now play to make Chick N Max a household name."

Frahm has nearly three decades of franchise sales and development experience. From 1993-2021, he served as the North America Director of Development of Franchise Brands for Subway, a role for which he was appointed by the brand's founder and visionary Fred DeLuca. It was in this position that Frahm gained a reputation as an industry expert, driving qualified franchise sales and managing a portfolio of over 1,000 restaurants across North America.

"As we continue to break into new and existing markets across the Central United States and beyond, we know that Jeff's extensive and extraordinary background in franchise development will help further differentiate our brand in the thriving chicken segment of the restaurant space," Chick N Max founder and CEO Max Sheets said. "We're excited to have him join our team and look to the future with more enthusiasm than ever."

Founded in 2017 and franchising since 2021, Chick N Max has six restaurants open in Kansas, Texas and South Dakota.
