Former Corner Bakery head joins Le Duff as co-CEO

Former Corner Bakery Cafe president Jim Vinz has been announced as the new co-CEO of Le Duff America Inc., parent company to Bruegger’s Bagels, La Madeleine Country French Café, Timothy’s World Coffee and Brioche Doree.

Vinz succeeds former Bruegger's CEO James Greco, who left Le Duff in December.Greco took on the role of co-CEO of Le Duff America when the company purchased Bruegger's and its stable of brands in March 2011.

Vinz will serve as co-CEO with Claude Bergeron, who also is chairman of Le Duff America, the U.S. division of the French company Groupe Le Duff.

Le Duff America, whose parent Groupe Le Duff is headquartered in Rennes, France, operates more than 300 Bruegger’s Bakeries in North America, and 60 La Madeleine Country Cafes. Through its subsidiary, Threecaf Brands Canada Inc., it operates 137 Timothy’s World Coffee, Mmmuffins and Michel’s Bakery Cafés in Canada.

Vinz had been with Dallas-based Corner Bakery for 16 years and played an instrumental role in growing the chain to 120 units.
