Fast casual reaches Japan

The Daily Yomiuri: Fast-casual restaurants have found their way to Japan. It's the fastest-growing segment in the country. Mos Food Services Inc., known for its Mos Burger hamburger chain, is reaping the seeds it planted years ago.

"We are the originators of fast-casual," said Norifumi Mimura, the executive in charge of the chain's fast-casual development group.
