El Pollo Loco airs beef with KFC's grilled chicken

Orange County Register: El Pollo Loco is waging another attack on KFC's new grilled chicken. This time, the Costa Mesa-based chain is challenging the integrity of KFC's oven-grilled chicken because of its inclusion of beef powder and rendered beef fat in the product's marinade.
Starting today, El Pollo Loco will air a 15-second spot featuring chief executive Steve Carley standing in a pasture of cows. He then calls out KFC for using beef ingredients in its "grilled" chicken recipe.
