DoorDash announced in a company press release its debut into specific regions of the Sacremento Valley, marking the door-to-door food delivery technology's 26th major city market across North America. According to the release, Sacramento consumers can order from hundreds of restaurants in the surrounding area via the DoorDash Android or iOS app, or online at doordash.com. Delivery is available for one dollar through the end of July with no limits.
Restaurants partaking in DoorDash's service include locals like The Old Spaghetti Factory, Pressed Juicery, Koisan Asian Cuisine and Saffron Grill; as well as national chains such as Taco Bell, California Pizza Kitchen and Buca di Beppo.
"As a Bay area company, we've been looking forward to expanding even further across Northern California, and we're thrilled to help bring Sacramento residents' favorite foods right to their doors," said DoorDash co-founder and CEO Tony Xu in the release. "Thanks to our simple, data-driven platform, hundreds of Sacramento restaurants can now reach more customers than ever before."
