Dickey's ramping up holiday offerings with online ordering

The day before Thanksgiving is the biggest sales day of the year for Dickey's, with a more than 80 percent increase for the 2013 holiday season.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is offering online ordering this season through 93 percent of its stores nationwide.

All locations are also offering discounts to guests registered for the company's loyalty program, the Big Yellow Cup Club.

The day before Thanksgiving is the biggest sales day of the year for Dickey's, according to a company press release. Sales exceeded an 80 percent increase year over year for the 2013 holiday season.

"We make it easy for guests to avoid crowds and order their holiday meals on-line and then pick them up at their local restaurant," said Christie Finley, chief brand officer for Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, in the release. "We are even offering links on all of our social channels (including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest) and special offers for our most loyal guests to encourage a seamless shopping experience across multiple channels."
