Dickey's opens locations in TX and OR

Texas and Oregon are getting more barbecue, according to a press release. Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened two locations this Thursday, one in Frisco and the other in Portland. Both new units are offering four weeks of giveaways and specials, including free barbecue for a year for three customers at the Frisco location and one at the Portland location. 

The Portland Dickey's was opened by Todd Saperstein, which is his third Dickey's location. The Dickey's location in Frisco is owned and operated by Dallas native, Kristi Mahoney, according to the release.  

Both locations will hold three promotional days, including Thirsty Thursdays, when customers will receive free Big Yellow Cups and the first 50 guests can taste Dickey's new Bangers & Mash Taco; Philanthropy Fridays, when uniformed first responders receive half off their meals and customers can donate to Dickey's charitable foundation, Barbecue, Boots & Badges; and  on Sundays, kids eat free when adults purchase a dine-in meal worth $10.
