Dickey's BBQ to open San Antonio unit

Dickey's Barbecue Pit will opened a new location in the Alamo Ranch community of San Antonio and celebrate with a month of promotional giveaways, according to a company press release. Owner/Operator Emmanuel Herrera opens the newest Dickey's Barbecue Pit in San Antonio on Thursday

"Dickey's is proud to open our sixth location in San Antonio as we further expand in our home state," said Dickey's CEO Roland Dickey, Jr. 

Three winners will receive free barbecue for a year at the new Alamo Ranch location. Guests can enter using hashtag #1FreeYearofBBQ on any social media page, by ordering online or signing up for the Big Yellow Cup Club.

"My experience is with hand-crafted spirits, so the artisanal quality of barbecue attracted me immediately," franchisee Emmanuel Herrera said. "I love slow-smoking meat and I am very excited to serve great barbecue to my adopted community. Dickey's is more than just barbecue, it is all about great times with friends and family."
