Cosi signs Middle East expansion deal

DEERFIELD, Ill. — Cosi Inc. has signed a deal with United Arab Emirates-based Al Tayer Group to develop Cosi restaurants in Middle Eastern markets. Under its agreement with Così, Al Tayer Group holds exclusive rights to operate Così in Lebanon and the Persian Gulf region.
The Al Tayer deal is Cosi's first foray into the international market.
