ChowNow updates platform for mobile compatibility

Online ordering provider ChowNow has launched its newest version, v2.0, featuring three components:

• Mobile: Utilizing tap-friendly technology, leveraging the growing trend of mobile ordering via smartphones and tablets;
• Conversion: Employing responsive designs that simplify the customer experience; and
• Customization: Allowing restaurants to emulate the look and feel of their brand through personalized apps and websites.

“Through this upgrade, we hope to empower independent restaurants to compete with larger chains by giving them high-quality products they can afford,” CEO Christopher Webb said in a news release. “ChowNow v2.0 is an improved version of our original platform that brings restaurants and customers closer, while minimizing the cost of the middleman.”
