Chipotle co-sponsors Slipstream Cycling Team

DENVER — Chipotle Mexican Grill has signed on as co-title sponsor of the Slipstream Cycling Team, to be known as the Slipstream/Chipotle Professional Cycling Team for the 2007-08 season.
The team recently implemented an anti-doping program in which all athletes on the 2008 Slipstream/Chipotle Team voluntarily participate in the anti-doping program, developed in partnership with the Agency for Cycling Ethics (ACE). Team members will be tested more than 1,200 times in 2008, some 20 times more frequently than most professional cyclists are subject to annually, according to a news release.
Team Slipstream/Chipotle will compete in a full slate of international races throughout the spring and summer, including the Amgen Tour of California, Tour of Georgia, Paris-Nice, Criterium International, Philly Week, Dauphine Libere, USPRO Criterium, USPRO Road Race, Tour of Missouri and, hopefully, the Tour de France.
Terms of Chipotle's sponsorship were not disclosed.
