Denver Post: While the much-talked-about H5N1 avian flu virus has yet to make an appearance on American soil, Colorado restaurants that rely on poultry sales are preparing for it and the impact it could have on their businesses. Boston Market Corp. is developing and testing alternative menu items at its Golden headquarters. Chipotle Mexican Grill said the company has an internal committee monitoring all facets of the flu and evaluating implications.
"For now we're very much in a holding and monitoring pattern," said Chris Arnold, a spokesman for Denver-based Chipotle.
