IRVINE, Calif. — The Charo Chicken restaurant chain has appointed Johnson-Ukropina Creative Marketing as its marketing and advertising agency. With 24 restaurants in operation in Southern California and plans to have 50 stores opened by the end of 2007, the fast-casual chain known for its fire-grilled chicken and garlic-lemon-butter sauce is poised to step up its branding and advertising efforts.
"We're very excited about our new partnership with Johnson-Ukropina," said Ray Perry, president and chief executive officer of Charo Chicken Systems Inc.
Charo Chicken offers dine-in and takeout service for its customers. The chain also offers home delivery, which represents up to 40 percent of its revenue.
