Caribou Coffee intros grown-up grilled cheese

Caribou Coffee is now providing their guests meal options for lunch with the launch of the new grown-up grilled cheese sandwiches.

Caribou's grilled cheese sandwiches are made with fixings such as smoked Gouda, grilled chicken breast, caramelized onion and arugula pesto, for a modern twist on a classic. Guests can order any of the four varieties fresh from the oven: Three Cheese Classic, Gouda Turkey Pesto, Aged Cheddar Roast and Italian Chicken Melt.

"Our customers stop in for their favorite beverages all day long, so offering food that can be enjoyed for breakfast as well as lunch or dinner was a natural next step for Caribou," said Alfredo Martel, senior vice president of marketing and product management. "We know guests love our wholesome Daybreaker breakfast sandwiches and handcrafted oatmeal in the morning, and we hope our premium grilled cheese sandwiches will have them coming back for a delicious lunch or dinner."

The grilled cheese sandwiches will be offered nationwide at most Caribou Coffee locations. All four varieties range from $3.50 to $4.25, depending upon store location.
