Caribou Coffee expanding retail partnerships

MINNEAPOLIS — Caribou Coffee Co. Inc. announced its line of premium coffee beans is now available in 350 stores in the Southeast and New England markets through partnerships with Shaw's Supermarkets and Harris Teeter. 
 
Additionally, Caribou Coffee is launching a seven-store pilot program with Bed Bath & Beyond to offer several varieties of its premium coffee beans in five states. Under the agreement, stores will display Caribou Coffee in customized display shippers, offering both Caribou Coffee Whole Bean and Caribou Coffee Ground in four varieties.
 
Harris Teeter, a subsidiary of Ruddick Corp., offers Southeastern distribution of Caribou Coffee beans in stores throughout Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. Caribou Coffee's partnership with Shaw's Supermarkets, a New England-based grocer, offers eight varieties of Caribou Coffee in 200 Shaw's stores across Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Vermont.
 
Shaw's Supermarkets now sells both whole bean and ground coffees from Caribou Coffee.
