Captain D’s adds tech enrollment feature

Captain D's received the 2018 Paytronix Loyaltees Award for Early Adoption for its addition of a text-to-JoinSM system, according to a company press release. 

With the text-to-JoinSm, guest registration for its loyalty program uses their phone numbers. After cashiers request the number, the customer receives an automatic text on their device updated with their earned points. 

"The new text-back feature drove a boost in Captain D's enrollment by making it easier to register and put Loyalty front and center as we launched the new program," Chief Marketing Officer Bob Kraut, said in the release.

Since it started using Paytronix, Captain D's registration rates have more than tripled, according to the release.
