California Tortilla to celebrate 13 years
September 17, 2008
ROCKVILLE, Md. — California Tortilla is celebrating its 13th birthday Sept. 24, with an open-to-the-public party in all of its stores.
The first 50 customers at each location at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. will get a special commemorative T-shirt. All customers that day also will receive a coupon that will be valid the next day for a free burrito, salad or quesadilla. However, customers must wish the cashiers happy birthday in some fashion.
The chain started in Bethesda, Md., in 1995 and now boasts nearly 40 corporate and franchise locations throughout Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
