Calbi taco truck opens mobile unit in Austin, Texas

Calbi Fusion Tacos and Burritos, the Los Angeles-based gourmet Korean-fusion mobile food chain, has opened its first out-of-state mobile food venue.
On April 21, Calbi will begin selling its Korean-fusion tacos and burritos on the streets of Austin, Texas. To celebrate, Calbi trucks will be offering its Austin customers $1.00 tacos from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 21. The trucks' standard operating hours will be 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily. "Austin is a hot spot for nightlife, entertainment and cuisine. With the University of Texas, and a number of large corporations headquartered in the vicinity, Austin provides extensive opportunity for Calbi to gain exposure, popularity, and a following," Calbi president Coleen Craig said in a news release."The demand for excellent food at reasonable prices is everywhere.
