Burger 21, a new fast casual concept founded by the owners of the Melting Pot Restaurants, is working with Revention Technology to provide point-of-sale and HungerRush integrated online ordering solutions to support the concept's rapid growth, according to a company press release.
Since February 2012, Burger 21 has signed four agreements to develop a total of six franchised units, in addition to the development of two new corporate-owned locations in the Tampa Bay, Fla., area, expanding the franchise to a total of 10 franchised and company-owned units.
During this time of increased expansion, Burger 21 has simultaneously been implementing Revention point-of-sale and integrated HungerRush online ordering with positive results. Burger 21 offers online ordering for pick-up service and has been generating a $21 check average for all online orders, said Scott Pierce, CFO of Front Burner Brands, restaurant management company for Burger 21.
"The expansion and growth rate has been fast paced and steadily increasing," he said "Revention technology offerings have been beneficial solutions to aid in the rapid growth of the concept."
