Bojangles races for consumer interaction

The Bojangles' sponsorship of the Nascar Southern 500 race is being held this year with a sweepstakes that offers fans a chance to win either an "ultimate race experience"or $35,000, as well as another chance to win $500,000 at the Sept. 4 Darlington Raceway event.

"We're proud to enter our fifth year as title sponsor of the Bojangles' Southern 500, a crown jewel event on the NASCAR calendar," said Bojangles' Senior Marketing Vice President Randy Poindexter in a news release. "Reaching such a milestone in our partnership with Darlington, we wanted to really make this a memorable weekend of racing, and what better way to do this than to give one lucky race fan the chance to win $500,000."

From now through Aug. 21, anyone who buys a 22-ounce drink at participating Bojangles' locations, receives a special encoded cup, which they can use online to register for the sweepstakes.
