Bananas Smoothies and Frozen Yogurt is introducing non-fat Greek yogurt to its menu with the launch of its Go Greek! promotion this month. Customers can experience the new Greek yogurt blended in a smoothie, layered in a parfait or in the new yogurt pies at locations nationwide.
The new Bananas Go Greek! yogurt options have two times the protein, probiotics and are free of added ingredients and artificial ingredients, flavors and preservatives, according to a company press release. Go Greek! yogurt pairings will be available in the following:
GoGreek! Smoothies: An all-natural blend of Greek yogurt makes the Bananaberry Smoothie made with fresh strawberries and bananas, as well as the new Pineapple Mango Smoothie, blended with pineapple and mango.
GoGreek! Yogurt Parfaits: Featuring non-fat vanilla Greek Yogurt and layered with fresh fruits and granola.
GoGreek! Yogurt Pie: Served by the slice, Greek yogurt pies will be available in Blueberry Pomegranate and Strawberry Kiwi.
"Not all yogurts are created equal, and more than ever consumers continue to look to Greek yogurt as a protein-packed, healthy option," said Paula Doyle, vice president of marketing at Villa Enterprises Management, the parent company of Bananas. "We're excited to introduce our Greek yogurt pairings and give our customers another great option for a quick meal or treat."
Prices for the new Greek yogurt options vary by location, and individuals who "like" Bananas on Facebook will have access to a Buy One Get One coupon for a 16-ounce Greek yogurt smoothie valid through July 31.
